The Sentinel of Orocovis
It is estimated that this mango tree emerged close to the decade of 1840. Its location and majestic appearance gave it the reputation of watching over the town becoming the most beloved symbol in our history, being one of  its biggest proponents master artisan Celestino Avilés Meléndez. It was destroyed in 2017 by hurricane Maria.
